The Power of the Purse is Women Who Lead’s annual fundraiser. The event features an elegant venue, enjoyable dinner, and distinguished speaker. A raffle, silent auction, and live auction of the many purses raise funds to support WWL’s many projects in the community.

Join us for the seventh annual Power of the Purse event hosted by Women Who Lead (WWL) at the Rose Garden Banquet Hall on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Enjoy an elegant and unique experience with other women who are passionate about making a difference in Ellis County. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. for a social hour to browse the selection of purses and handbags up for silent and live auctions and raffles raising money for WWL causes. Delight in a delicious buffet at 6:00 p.m.

TICKETS

Seating is limited for Power of the Purse and sells out quickly. Unreserved tickets are $50 each. Reserved tables of eight are available for $400. Reserved tables are purchased in full at the time of registration. Tickets available until by March 7 or until sold out. Purchase your tickets below!

RAFFLE TICKETS

Many bags will be available through a raffle, and you are welcome to purchase your tickets in advance – one ticket for $5, or five tickets for $20. You can avoid the purchase line and get right to browsing the beautiful bags to determine which ones you would like to take home. You will receive the pre-purchased tickets at registration. Additional tickets will be available for purchase at the event as well. This option will be made available at checkout.

FEATURED SPEAKER

Hear from a famous Kansan, Jennifer Jo Cobb. She is a professional NASCAR racecar driver, NASCAR team owner, international and motivational public speaker, entrepreneur, and corporate spokesperson. Jennifer began racing at the grassroots level of NASCAR in Kansas City in 1991. Despite the odds against her, Cobb climbed the ranks of auto racing.
